Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a beauty in the spring and definitely a sight worth looking forward to seeing. As the spring wildflowers emerge, they bring color to the area and the trees and treelines begin to fill in with a vibrant green color as well. The wildlife begins to emerge and the temperatures are just right for hiking to explore and see all the beauty up close.
Wildwood Grove will be coming to Dollywood. This is going to be the largest addition to the park in its history. This area is inspired by Dolly’s childhood and the focal point will be a 55 ft Wildwood Tree that will come to life at night with glowing butterflies. The area will offer 6 unique rides including the Dragonflier which is a suspended roller coaster. There will be new play areas for the kids as well as a new restaurant, Till & Harvest. You may also find the Wildwood Grove characters, Flit, Flutter, and Benjamin Bear roaming around in the Grove.
Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show
The Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show opened in 2018 but now after the show, you can head over and try some lumberjack moves out for yourself in their new lumberjack themed adventure park. There are 28 challenges for you to experience in the High Woodsman Challenge and more fun adventures are coming soon like a Loggersports pool challenge, Timber Towers controlled jumping adventure, and a Flying Ox roller coaster /zipline experience.
The Domes Zipline is one of the newest attractions in town. Get a skyline view of Pigeon Forge and the Smokies as you zipline across the 11 line course. You will begin at the Pigeon Forge Sky Dome and travel at heights up to 100 feet. It is a great way to see the spring beauty of the area!
National Enquirer Live Attraction
The National Enquirer Live Attraction is set to open this spring. This fun attraction will be one of only two locations in the United States. Guests will enter the building through a camera lens. Inside, you will be able to explore the world of reporting and through an interactive exhibit get to do your own headline reporting.
