The 29th Annual Smoky Mountain Winterfest
The 29th Annual Smoky Mountain Winterfest begins November 6th and will run until February 28, 2019.
Each year this great event gets better and brighter. With more than five million lights glowing throughout the city, you will quickly get in the holiday spirit!
Holiday Shows Begin & Businesses Get in The Holiday Spirit
The Celebration! Holiday Show starts this month, while Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Christmas at Smoky Mountain Opry, Country Tonite Christmas, and Hatfield and McCoy Christmas Disaster Dinner Show all begin on November 1st.The Comedy Barn Christmas show will begin November 19th. Most offer several show times a day so there will be plenty of chances to catch them all!
A Christmas Carol will be at the Inn at Christmas Place on November 4-6th.This holiday classic is performed by Gerald Charles Dickens, grandson of the famous author Charles Dickens. He will also be doing a book signing on November 5th from 4:30-5:30pm.
Titanic will be honoring all military members with complimentary entrance to the museum during the month of November. On November 22nd, there will be Titanic’s Thanksgiving Fireworks Celebration. This event is free and will feature a Superheroes Parade beginning at 7pm with fireworks following.
Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas
Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas opens November 10th.
This event has won theme park awards for “Best Christmas Event” for 10 consecutive years! Enjoy the nightly Parade of Many Colors and find Santa in Santa Land to tell him how good you’ve been this year!
Last but not least, Old Mill Square Holiday Open House takes place November 10th.
